Glasgow Psychologist

Glasgow Psychologist is a Clinical Psychology and Counselling Service based in the west end of Glasgow and online.
The service is led by Dr Oonagh Duffy, a Senior Clinical Psychologist working within the private sector. Dr Duffy has significant experience of working with both children and adults in community mental health teams (AMH's and CAMHS), as well as working with adults and children with physical illness.

She offers assessments and evidence based psychological therapy for children and adults with mild to moderate difficulties and can provide early intervention support for difficulties to help prevent these from getting more entrenched and impacting negatively on lives

Dr Duffy is trained in a number of therapeutic modalities. I can therefore create a treatment plan for you that may combine a number of therapeutic approaches tailored to your own specific needs, allowing you to get the help that you need quicker.

She tends to offer a short number of sessions depending on your needs, typically 6-8 although this can be less or more if required.
We establish therapy goals and work to help you learn the skills you need to reach your goals. In this way Dr Duffy aims to teach you to be your own therapist, using skills long beyond our time working together. You can always arrange a top up refresher session in the future if needed.

Dr Duffy is approachable, supportive and compassionate and she provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to explore your difficulties.

She is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council as a Practising Psychologist.
